Stopping by the Ivy is less about the food than the “scenery.” Anyone who’s anyone in la-la-land dines here, at least occasionally. The inside of the restaurant is nothing special—in fact, it’s a bit hokey. It’s the outdoor, white-picket fenced dining area that gets all the attention. The patio is a feeding ground for the paparazzi, who virtually camp-out across the street, snapping photos of new celebrity couples cooing over lunch, A-list movie star birthday parties, and naughty young Hollywood media magnets. The question isn’t who has been seen here, it’s who hasn’t! Keep in mind that reservations are absolutely required—and, don’t forget your sunglasses!
